Last updated: July 29, 2024
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Sonit (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this Service.
2. Service Description
Sonit is a web application that allows users to search for, stream, and organize content from third-party sources like YouTube. We provide a user interface and playback controls but do not host or own any of the media content. The availability and legality of content are the responsibility of the source platform (e.g., YouTube).
3. User Conduct
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for all of your activity in connection with the Service. You shall not (and shall not permit any third party to) either (a) take any action or (b) upload, download, post, submit or otherwise distribute or facilitate distribution of any content on or through the Service that:
- Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity or other right of any other person or entity.
- Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another's privacy, or is otherwise offensive.
- Constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, junk or bulk e-mail ("spamming").
4. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users or third-party sources), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Sonit and its licensors. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Sonit.
Sonit respects the intellectual property rights of others. We rely on third-party APIs (such as YouTube's) to access content. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the content complies with the terms of service of the respective third-party platforms.
5. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not to a breach of the Terms.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the Service or the information, content, or materials included therein. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page.
